Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 2026

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device (computer, phone or tablet) when you visit it. Cookies are used to remember preferences, measure audience and generally improve the browsing experience. On this site we also use similar technologies such as `localStorage`, which work in a comparable way.

This policy describes which cookies and similar technologies we use on performanze.com, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and how you can exercise your rights under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on personal data protection and digital rights (LOPDGDD), and Law 34/2002 on information society services and e-commerce (LSSI-CE).

Applicable law

The use of cookies and similar technologies on this site complies with the GDPR, the LOPDGDD and the LSSI-CE, in particular Article 22.2 (cookies exempt from the information and consent obligation when they are technical or strictly necessary to provide the service). Guidance from the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) and EU data protection law informs our configuration.

Data controller

The controller for personal data obtained through this website is Planning, Strategy & Growth SL, with address at Calle Roger de Llòria 28, Pta 4, 46002 Valencia, Spain, and email agency@performanze.io.

You can find further information on processing purposes, retention periods and how to exercise your rights in our Privacy Policy.

Legal basis and purposes by category

Technical and preference cookies (including the key that stores your consent choice and language): purpose is to enable browsing, provide the requested service and remember essential preferences. Prior consent is not required when they are exempt under Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE and applicable guidance.

Analytics (Plausible Analytics): purpose is aggregated audience measurement. The script loads only if you enable this category in the settings panel. The legal basis is your free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 6(1)(a) LOPDGDD). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal, except for strictly necessary cookies.

Error monitoring (Sentry): purpose is to ensure security and correct technical operation. The legal basis may be legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) where balanced and your rights do not override; Sentry is configured to minimise personal data.

Types of cookies we use

We classify cookies by purpose. The site uses strictly necessary cookies, and with your consent aggregated audience analytics (Plausible) and user-experience tools (Microsoft Clarity), as described in the sections above.

Strictly necessary and preference cookies (always active)

They are essential for the site to work correctly. Prior consent is not required when they are exempt under Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE.

  • performanze_consent (localStorage): stores whether you enable analytics cookies (JSON preferences) so we do not show the banner again until you change it under Cookie preferences.
  • performanze_lang (localStorage): remembers the language you have selected (Spanish or English).

Analytics cookies (require consent)

We use Plausible Analytics as our audience measurement tool. Plausible is privacy-friendly by design: it does not use persistent cookies, does not collect personal data, does not track users across sites, and aggregated data is stored in the European Union.

Analytics measurement is only activated after your explicit consent via the corresponding switch. If you reject or withdraw consent, the script will not load. Consent is recorded through your positive action (we do not use pre-ticked boxes for non-essential cookies).

With the same consent, we may load Microsoft Clarity, which analyses aggregated on-site behavior (e.g. heat maps or session replays) to improve the site. Microsoft processes data on our behalf as a data processor. If you do not accept analytics, Clarity is not loaded. See Microsoft’s Clarity documentation for the privacy notice.

Error monitoring

We use Sentry to detect and diagnose technical errors. Sentry is configured not to capture personally identifiable information (PII): no IP address, cookies, or full form payloads are stored. It runs on legitimate interest with the sole purpose of keeping the service up and running.

Third-party cookies

We do not use advertising or social media cookies. Third-party measurement or user-experience tools (e.g. Plausible, Microsoft Clarity) are only enabled with your consent, as described in the analytics section. If we add others in the future (for example, embedded YouTube videos or chat), we will add them to this policy and they will stay blocked until you give your consent.

How to manage your cookies

You can change your decision at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect the site's functionality. .
